To the people that we continue to get questions from regarding the
GARDEN ISLE TRI-FEST due to my families schedule it was not in our capability band-width wise to do the event in 2013.We will consider it in 2014.In the meantime below is a possible event that may happen in the fall-Thanks to all who attended in 2012.

The Tri Fest is over and everyone had 2012 Green FUN!

Times are approximate but we will do our best to be close to above times, as to awards we don’t appear to have a real large group of kids so the plan is once the
the Aquathlon and 5K are launched we will do kid awards .I would suggest if you are PRE-REGISTERED be there on-site by 7:10am at latest you have to pick up your chip. IF you’re doing the SUP be on-site by 9:00am . Joe
It is time to start thinking about this year's TriFest - Sat. March 17th 2012 event with lots of Aloha including Irish & Hawaiian Entertainment! This year will only be one day - Saturday and the bonus is that's also
St. Patrick's Day...so get out your green shorts so you do not get pinched...another safe & green sporting event!
We will keep the money on Kauai using as many local vendors and sources as we can find. Then the money will stay here on Kauai with the profits going to
"HABITAT For HUMANITY"
and
ROTARY Scholarship Fund".
We hope as in March 2011 again to attract participants from all the Hawaiian islands, Mainland, and other International Countries interested in coming to our beautiful Garden Island for more than just a vacation.

Whats New For 2012
Event will be only one day, smaller venue of Events -Due to our lack of individual time to dedicate to event. 2013 we will have the Triathlons back also
PLEASE PLAN TO BE ON-SITE AT 7AM FOR
Running-Events. SUP EVENT BE ON-SITE BY 9:30AM
ALL EVENTS ARE CHIP TIMED!
We will have:
Kids Duathlon, Aquathlon Splash & Dash (5k,750M,5K),
5K Run/Walk and SUP (Multi Tier) Paddle Event all done on Marriott Grounds.
Awards will be on-site. Others can be created on-site if we should need an additional award.
T-Shirts: we will attempt to have one for everyone but Early Registration will help insure you get a T-Shirt.
AWARDS:we will have 1st thru 3rd in 10 year age breaks example (20-29,30-39,etc) .
Finisher medals we will have them for first 150 participants registered.
March 17th is the middle of the month, a Saturday, and St.Patrick's Day!!!
Sign up now and then plan to join us for a fun "green" event plus some "make your socks roll up and down" good food & door prizes afterwards. Maybe you will have the "Luck of the Irish" and win a prize donated by one of our local merchants.
